Each player MUST have required equipment including mouthpiece, helmet, gloves, armpads and shoulderpads.  Each team MUST have a legally equipped goalie to start each game.

NO BODYCHECKING: All players must play the ball. No “man/ball”. Bodychecking an opponent to the ground will result in a fast break for the opponent as an unnecessary roughness penalty.

Any player ejected from a game will not be able to participate in the next game.

Face-off to start game only. Wing players will line up to the left of face-off man using SIDELINE as wingline. Other players will stay behind ENDLINE until official has blown whistle to start game. Goalie MUST start in crease.

Anytime a ball leaves the field of play (shot or not), its is awarded to the team that DID NOT last touch/deflect the ball. A ball that goes off the goalpost will be awarded to the offense.

After a goal, the scored-upon goalie will get possession and start on the official's whistle - goalie will be entitled to protection of crease for four seconds.

When there is a 5-goal margin, after a goal by EITHER team, the team trailing will be awarded the ball at midfield.

NO HORNS. All substitution is on-the-fly, even after goals.

PENALTIES – All regular penalties are called. Time-serving Personal Fouls will require the offending player to leave the field for the fast break. Time-serving technical fouls will require a fast break but the offending player does NOT have to leave the field. Multi-minute and more than one foul on the same play will lead a 3v1fast break.

PENALTY ENFORCEMENT - 3 on 2 fast break from midfield. 1 non-offending midfielder begins 5 yards ahead of the midfield line. All other midfield players (defense and offense) begin behind the midline. All players released on a SINGLE whistle.
